The spiders crawl every aspect of your website and then assign it a rank depending on what information it finds.

Once in the data base the search engine compares its rank to all the other websites and assigns the positions accordingly.

Now, how do you keep the spiders coming back? Well it is all about fresh content. The more HTML text you have on your website the better. The spiders love to explore and they love to find new content. Along with new content they also like new links, new title tags, Meta keywords and descriptions.
